01 about
"Everyone has a website"...I've spent my entire career following brand standards - whether it was creating them for someone else or following existing ones. When provided the opportunity to create brand standards for myself, I end up on v22 and decide to just use the dev link to the most recent version as the mk8media.com redirect. This is version 22, btw.

Anyway, Hi!
My name is Mary-Kate or MK8. I began my digital marketing journey writing about heat exchangers, garage door repair and landscaping services. From there I embellished my graphic design hobby, got the hang of web development, pursued my love for social media (so glad all those hours on social weren't a total waste) and helped organize a few beer festivals.

If it's not too late, I definitely recommend working in radio in your mid-20s.

Five years in automotive advertising later, fast pace agency lyfe is lyfe. Zoom Zoom.
(No, I don't drive a Mazda)

At the beginning of the pandemic, I was lucky to shimmy backwards into a position that's as close to being near my major as possible. Therapy Brands taught me a lot about B2B Marketing and the nuances of that customer journey. While long, it was definitely rewarding knowing I was helping individuals get the services they needed during a dark time in the world.
At Sprinklr, I used both my B2C and B2B marketing experience to accelerate Sonos products/services. Though my time at Camelot was short, I was lucky to pitch and win different funnel tactics to my clients' strategy - all while learning app based marketing as well as continued use of my DTC and B2B expertise.

I mean, when your office superlative is "Mrs. Fix-It," it's hard to nail them all down. Heh.

I'm a fast learner, team player and creative problem solver.

Unrelated but Still Kinda Related
The summer of Covid (2020), I finally had the opportunity to create graphics that I've wanted to do just for me. Specifically for stickers and t-shirts. One design is featured below.
Then, I recreated my team's logo so we could have "merch" but mainly to raise money for tournament travel and field rental for practices...here's the link to the Tee-Spring store. Established an Etsy store since Spring doesn't rank.
